What is Crosscheck?
Crosscheck verifies a user’s submitted information against several different data sources to confirm their name, email, phone, address, and IP.
One of our core models for Crosscheck is changing to help better identify good vs risky interactions. These are the major factors in this update:
What Do I Need to Do?
Once the model update launches on June 1st, 2022, you can expect to see a slight increase in the number of Crosscheck jobs flagged as “Warning”. By default, Crosscheck uses a confidence score of 0.5 to flag warnings. If you would like to maintain a similar warning rate to the old model, you can contact us to change your confidence score threshold to 0.35 to mitigate the impact of this update. Otherwise, you don't need to do anything.
It’s important to remember that identity verification (IDV) jobs flagged by Crosscheck will not automatically be rejected. When a job is flagged by Crosscheck, it will simply add a warning status to that job in your Vouched Dashboard, along with the details of what triggered the warning.
